What is an actionist?

Actionist – One who favors constructive transformative action towards a vision of how things could be rather than an activist, who may primarily protest against things as they are now.

Policy is important but getting policy on the ground is more important! Actionism is when you are asking that YOU do something in partnership with the government or business or through your own motivation. Activism is demanding you ask the government to do something. Urban Reforestation thinks that Actionism is a great principle to take on board to create changes in your urban communities.
